APIX (the National Agency for the Promotion of investment and for major projects) is an autonomous agency, set up in July 2000. Its main purpose is to help the President of the Republic of Senegal in the conception and implementation of his policy for promoting investment and for major projects.
|
 |
After reviewing APIX’s old Internet site, People Input reformulated the site, so as to provide potential investors and anyone interested in investment in Senegal with relevant and useful information, in a clearer and more intelligent way.
The second version of this agency’s site is fully oriented towards meeting the needs of visitors. The aim is to answer as quickly and clearly as possible the 3 questions that any potential investor will ask: why, where and how to invest in Senegal?
The net surfer will be able to find, among other things, information about:
The organisation and activities of the Agency
The reasons for investing in Senegal and the procedures for doing this
The main growth markets for investment
The two existing systems of incentives: the Investment Code and the status of tax exempted export companies
Senegal, in general
The Head of State’s major projects.

Senegal Hotels, the leading hotel group in Senegal, has 9 hotel complexes in the country.
|
 |
Senegal Hotels has asked People Input, to reformulate its Internet site, so as to make it more modern and in keeping with its image and standing.
The aim of such a site is to present the hotels in a lively way, both their infrastructures and the services they provide. The site is aimed both at nationals and tourists. It has, therefore, to be functional and attractive and full of colour (to promote Senegal as a tourist destination), as well as being user-friendly.
It enables site surfers to make virtual visits to rooms, to make reservations online and to get practical information about the country and about the formalities that have to be carried out, etc.
As group tourism is a major part of the hotels’ activities, the site has a special section devoted to this, making it possible to get information about the services available in the hotels for business trips, and also to make reservations for such trips.
An «excursion» section makes it possible to have a picture display of the various excursions available from the hotels.

This aim was given concrete shape in the creation of the “SEED Academy”, which offers training to young basketball players.
|
 |
People Input has decided to get involved in this worthwhile project, by setting up a site for the Foundation. This site is a real showcase for basketball in Senegal. It should be a link between younger sportsmen and the greatest Senegalese and African basketball players of the Diaspora. It is also an excellent way to present the Foundation to potential partners and provides an opening to the world of basketball and to that of sports in general.
The SEED Foundation’s site is also a good way of introducing Senegal to the African American Diaspora, through basketball. It highlights the history of basketball in Senegal and its heroes.
