The website

Description

The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) is an international public institution headquartered in Dakar, Senegal. BCEAO is the Common Issuing Institute for the eight (8) Member States of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA), which are Benin, Burkina, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo. We accompanied the BCEAO in the implementation of a mobile version of its website and a downloadable application.

Our solution

An answered website which was inspired by the original website with the following functionalities:

  • navigation by section;
  • a presentation of inventions courses by date;
  • an interactive map presenting the UEMOA member states and a geolocation of the BCEAO Agencies;
  • a presentation of credit institutions by category and country;
  • a virtual tour of the Currency Museum;
  • RSS feed;
  • multimedia files (wires, videos, images);
  • publications (in the PDF form);
  • a search function;

A mobile application that allows:

  • consultation of the main sections of the site, even offline
  • access to currency rates
